| Hey guys. Sorry. It's been quite a while. So I guess it's summer again... like the end of June. School finished all right. I think my GPA is like a 3.8 or something. So that's good. But do you know what I can't wait for?
OH MY GOSH I'M GOING TO PERU!!! I can't wait to go! I know it will be over eleven days after it starts but I don't really care! I'm going with College Park. Some of the people that are going that you might know are people like Ariel Hashley, Sam Sites, Brian Reusch, John Mark Olsen... any of these people ringing a bell? So we're leaving the 30th of June. That will be an amazing trip! We fly from Indianapolis to Miami to Lima (We're in Peru). Then we take a local flight to Airequipa. And then we take an amazing 10 hour van ride to Cotahuasi! THAT will be pretty epic... or scary. But we're going to be there in Cotahuasi for about 7 days helping out the long-term missionaries there, the Shaws, with pretty much whatever they need. That will be quite awesome I think!
But anyway, it's getting late and I can finish this later. So long for now!

| I know that much time had passed, but I thank those who have kept a little ember of hope left for me and my writings though they be few and far between. I feel as though I have matured over the months very much in some areas, but in others I seem to have taken a step backwards, and yet in others I seem to be still sitting on my head acting like an imature goofball... which I am in many respects. Of course I have been in school since some time in August. I've been taking some very interesting classes here at Carmel High. Some of my favorites are my Media Arts class which is basically darkroom photography. In that class we take black and white pictures and develop our film and make our own prints and everything. The whole works. Unfortunately, our scanner has not been working or something for a very long time so I haven't been able to get my pictures up for all to see. English class is also very fun... at times. At the moment I happen to be writing a research paper *ugh!*. I love to write, but I find it more fun if it happens on my own time about things I want to write about. (I'll have to get some of my favorite stuff up on Facebook. There's some really funny ones.). It's actually been such a long time since I've written last that not only have I already started school this year, but I'm only a mere two weeks away from the end of the first semester. I'm also starting jazz band very soon! I can't wait until we have 'Jazz a la mode' and 'Jazz at the Roof!' They should be amazing! Lately I've been feeling a sense of being useless, non-productive. It's one of the worst feelings. But don't worry too much. That was only today, a Saturday when I woke up so late that the first meal I ate was lunch. Oh yeah! Yesterday, tonight, and tomorrow our church (College Park) is having its annual Cantata! I absolutely love the Cantata! This year I'm classified as the 'lighting assistant.' Basically I just make sure the light manager knows what he's doing and when. It's actually really fun! We have two more performances. Tomorrow at 8:00am and at 11:00am. If you haven't had a chance to come, you really should consider coming. It's at the church. Goodness! How could I forget!? A couple months ago a missionary family, the Shaws, came back from Peru to the U.S.. They came to our church. The Shaws have two awesome daughters named Cassandra and Jenelle. They're so awesome! They're actually helping our with the tech crew in the Cantata. Both of them came to my birthday party. Oh yeah. By the way, I'm sixteen now... And I have my permit... Just some stuff that's happened lately. Okay, so I've got to go to bed now so I can get a good night's rest! Bye all! Thanks for reading! I'll see you tomorrow!

| Ok. So I'm going to the Dominican Republic for 2 weeks. Yeah... It should be really fun! That's about it! Have a great summer guys! | | |
| Right now, all I want to do is go swimming or read a book or play the piano! I love summer...
Oh yeah, Bradley Hathaway is amazing by the way

Ok. So here's what's what. I have less than one week left in
school! I get out June the 1st! As you can see, I am excited. It's
only a little while from Finals and even though I hate... no, loath the very
core of them, I know I must be a conscientious student and study for them
so I don't fail miserably and set the course of my life askew, doomed to
forever flip burgers at Wendy's. Not that that's not a good job or anything,
but still... Nevertheless, I am having a good time at Carmel High. My brother
and I both played in a concert not too long ago. He had his Senior Solo and it
was AWESOME! Speaking of which, I went to The Wiz on some Friday and that, too,
was awesome. My big bro Ben was in it as well. He did great.
So two weeks after I get out of school I'm going to the Dominican Republic
with my grandpa and my cousin! I can't wait! We're going for two weeks! It's
not like a vacation or anything because we're going with Medical Missions
International (MMI), but I guess it kind of is.
After that's done, my family is driving to Canada to see Niagara Falls! Never been there and I can't
wait to go! Ahhhhh... I love family outings.
The rest of my summer I will probably spend doing absolutely
nothing! Isn't it great? But I do need something to do (Derek! We need to do
something this summer if you're available. Call me man!).
So that's pretty much what I'll be doing this summer. Yup...
What about yours?
Will the Bandits get away with the money!? Or will Sherriff
Woody get there in time!? Will Brad actually eat Betty Lou's soup!? Will Spider
Man ever regain control of himself!? Is Jack Sparrow really dead (or John Locke
for that matter. Sorry, I haven't seen it yet)!? Will Jack Bauer have the
strength for just one more season!? What is the meaning of life!?
Tune in next week for the astounding conclusion of Toy Story
2/Some Soap Opera/Spidy 3/Pirates 3/Lost/24/ & Monty Python's "The Meaning of Life!"
Until then, this is your host, Josiah Kaufman, signing off! | | |
